Provide administrative assistance to the department chairs; serve as the department’s financial manager (for Military Science); act as office manager/lead worker (for Military Science); assist in curriculum management and entry; assist with recruitment and evaluations of instruction by students; assist in departmental hiring procedures; and other related duties.

The Military Science, Biology and Chemistry/Physics departments are part of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Management. Military Science, relatively small department, oversees the Military Science minor degree and the ROTC programs. In Biology and Chemistry/Physics, a relatively much larger group of people, the department administrative workload is split between two individuals.

The normal work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The minimum starting salary is $ 15.42 per hour. The hourly rate for this position is negotiable based on experience and available budget. A six-month probation is required.
