The University of Wisconsin-Stout is looking for an Admissions Counselor to work in its Office of Admissions Department. The position will represent UW-Stout at educational fairs and events off campus. This position will also participate in our on campus visit program to present to families and groups. This staff member will collaborate with other Admissions Office staff members and other departments across campus, working to coordinate recruitment activities. All responsibilities shall be executed while demonstrating a commitment to inclusive excellence. Travel to Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois is required during the fall and spring recruitment seasons. Anticipated start date: July 1, 2018.
Minimum / Required
- Bachelors Degree
- Two years of experience in admissions/recruiting or related
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability in building strong working relationships with a wide variety of people
- Experience in planning events
- Familiar with student information systems
- Proficient in Microsoft office
