DEPARTMENT ASSOCIATE - STOUT ONLINE

DEPARTMENT: Stout Online

APPOINTMENT PERCENTAGE (FTE): 100

ANTICIPATED START DATE: October 23, 2023

SALARY:  Minimum starting is $18.50, commensurate with experience

ABOUT THE JOB: Administrative Assistant III (AD003)

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum / Required

·        High school diploma or equivalent.  

·        Two (2) years of office or administrative support experience.  

·        Customer service experience.

·        Demonstrated excellent written communication skills.

·        Demonstrated attention to detail.

·        Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and the Internet. 

Highly Desired

·        Post-secondary or related administrative training (training, certificate, associate's, bachelor's degree, etc.). 

·        Three (3) or more years of recent, consecutive years of experience working in student services in a higher education environment.

·        Familiarity with PeopleSoft, UWBI, ImageNow, Drupal, SharePoint, EMMA or other email marketing service, and Qualtrics.

The hourly rate for this position is based on experience and available budget.  A six-month probationary period is required.  The UW System provides an excellent benefits package including participation in the Wisconsin State retirement plan, demonstrating our commitment to the diverse needs of our employees.
