JOB DETAILS:
The University of Wisconsin-Stout School of Education is seeking applicants for the Data Reporting Specialist position to support the educator licensure programs. The Data Reporting Specialist is responsible for administering the ePortfolio system that houses all student assessment records for licensure purposes. In this capacity, they introduce students to the system, providing resources to assist them in uploading artifacts, and collaborate with faculty in using the system for evaluation. This position also gathers and analyzes education program data and assists the School of Education Director in preparing annual assessment and accreditation reports. This is a campus-based position that reports to the School of Education Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum/Required
Bachelor’s degree -or- minimum 3 years’ experience in data management -or- equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience working with word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic data collection systems
Demonstrated ability to foster collegial and collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students and external stakeholders
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in education, technology, or related field
Experience managing online portfolios or other systems to maintain records for accreditation or similar purposes
Demonstrated presentation skills and training others in the use of technology
Experience working in an education environment
Experience managing web pages and web sites
Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer the School of Education ePortfolio system (Anthology) for all educator licensure programs
Provide leadership by bringing innovative ideas for the use of the ePortfolio in the assessment system for the School of Education Director and School of Education Council
Facilitate ePortfolio training and provide ongoing support for School of Education students, faculty, and staff
Ensure alignment of ePortfolio with the School of Education assessment system
Gather and analyze benchmark assessment data
Assist the School of Education Director in writing or overseeing sections of the accreditation reports related to assessment (e.g., DPI, NASP, HEA Title II)
Provide data and assist School of Education program directors with Assessment in the Major reports
Assist with the annual DPI assessment report for the unit as a whole
Coordinate with university and UW-system PeopleSoft and other database personnel to create systems to meet School of Education data collection and reporting needs
Assist School of Education Director and staff, program directors, and others in the college with data requests
Serve as School of Education web coordinator, collaborating with faculty, staff, and University web staff to oversee all School of Education web pages
Attend School of Education, department, and university meetings
SCHOOL OF EDUCATION INFORMATION
The School of Education is housed in the College of Arts and Human Sciences and provides oversight and support for professional education services, faculty and staff. The School of Education seeks to cultivate effective leaders and impactful educators in their fields by promoting collaborative, applied learning opportunities through exemplary teaching, research and service. There are currently seven undergraduate and five graduate programs plus the Child and Family Studies Center within the School of Education.
In addition, the School of Education Council determines policies and procedures related to educational licensure and accreditation. The Council consists of the Teaching, Learning, and Leadership Department Chair, program directors for licensure programs and the M.S. Education program, faculty representing education foundation courses, clinical placement, licensure, and assessment staff.
