Graduate Program Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator
The University of Wisconsin-Stout, Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives division, invites qualified candidates to apply for our Graduate Program Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator position in the Admissions Office. The Graduate Program Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator position is responsible for recruiting and assisting prospective graduate and customized instruction students in navigating the Admissions process at UW-Stout. The Coordinator is a member of the Admissions department and is expected to work in coordination with other campus units including the Graduate School, Stout Online, the Office of International Education, Marketing and Communications, and others as appropriate.
The role is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment and matriculation strategies, creating focused messaging and communication, and assisting with the coordination of the admissions decision process. In addition, the Coordinator will maintain effective internal and external partnerships that foster graduate and Customized Instruction (CI) program enrollment growth and development.
This position reports directly to Director of Admissions.
Minimum / Required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated professional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Master’s Degree in higher education or related field
- Experience in admissions, recruitment, or outreach in post-secondary setting
- Experience developing, implementing, and assessing effective strategies supporting recruitment and matriculation for multiple and diverse student populations
- Experience fostering strong partnerships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using Customer Relations Management (CRM) for prospective student management and communication (e.g., Salesforce, etc.)
- Demonstrated commitment to establishing a work environment that embraces equity, diversity, and inclusion

Develop and implement recruitment and matriculation strategies for graduate and customized instruction students.
Collaborate with Admissions, the Graduate School, Office of International Education, Stout Online, and Marketing and Communications to develop and deliver messaging, materials, and campaigns focused on graduate and customized instruction programs.
Collaborate with the Graduate school and program directors to review, evaluate, and respond to student applications for admission to a graduate program according to established policies and procedures.
Evaluate program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement.
Identify, promote, and maintain internal and external partnerships focused on outreach, recruitment, and admission.

UW-Stout’s Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives division is responsible for all aspects of university enrollment management. The division includes Admissions, Registration and Records, Financial Aid, Advisement, and Educational Pathways & Outreach, which includes Stout Online and Professional Education Programs & Services.
The Admissions Office is responsible for recruiting and admitting undergraduate, graduate and transfer students. The Admissions Office hosts formal tours for prospective students and oversees processing of undergraduate and graduate applications, as well as transfer credits. Prospective students can apply directly to UW-Stout through the University system website.
