JOB DETAILS:


Department: School of Hospitality Leadership/Food & Nutrition (Split Appointment)

Start Date: September 15, 2019 or sooner

The Inventory Control Coordinator will support the multiple food & beverage laboratories located in the School of Hospitality Leadership and the Department of Food & Nutrition. This position is an annual, one-year, non-renewable position with benefits. This is a full time (100%) academic year position and includes purchasing food and relates supplies for laboratory classes (40%), supporting faculty and academic staff in preparing for class (20%), managing external food and beverage vendors (20%), and 20% other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with word processing and spreadsheets (i.e., Word, Excel)
  • Experience with working with food or a foodservice environment
  • Professionalism and detail oriented

Highly Desired:

  • Working with external vendors/handling clients or customer service experience
  • Experience working within a large, institutional environment (i.e. university, hospital)
  • Two or Four year degree, related to food or nutrition
