JOB DETAILS:


The Department of Kinesiology, Health, Food & Nutritional Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Stout invites applications for a lecturer position/s in the food science and technology program commencing on August 19, 2024. We are seeking a dynamic individual/s to teach both on-campus and online courses in food science which may include: Science of Food (lecture and laboratory), Basic Sensory Analysis (lecture and laboratory), Food Product Development (lecture and laboratory), Seminar in Food Science and Technology, Food Science and Technology Research I & II, Technology of Dairy Products, Food Quality, Food Innovations and Plant Management, and Food Packaging.

Minimal Requirements:

  • Earned master's degree in food science and technology or closely related field by date of appointment 
  • Experience and interest in advancing student learning for the food science and technology program 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
