SALARY: $16 per hour
Oversee student-worker employment and performance to maximize lab usage and student learning. Assist Program Directors with employer relations, event planning, and enrollment growth.
Facilitate student-worker interviews, hiring, scheduling, and communicate tasks for student-workers.
Manage student payroll, monitor hours, and maximize work-study funding use. Facilitate purchase requests. Track lab-related service contracts and vendor payments.
Assist Program Directors with employer relations, event planning, and enrollment growth. Develop and execute a plan of work. Assist with marketing. Conduct program overview presentations. Assist with promotion materials. Communicate with alumni and prospective students. Organize advisory board meeting logistics. Assist PD with program reviews, credentialing, and accreditation.

Department employs approximately 20-25 individuals. Academic programs housed in the department include BS Computer Networking & Information Technology, BS Digital Marketing Technology, BS Graphic Communications, BS Information & Communication Technologies, and MS Information & Communication Technologies. These programs serve approximately 600 students. Labs are an extensive component.

All students are issued laptops. Faculty use the university’s online course delivery system and must be available for online interactions and/or alternate time frames for teaching. Faculty members teach, advise students, conduct research, assess student learning and engage in service activities.

The normal work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
The minimum starting salary is $16 per hour. The hourly rate for this position is negotiable based on experience and available budget. A six-month probation is required.
