JOB TITLE: Stout Online Registration Program Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Registration & Records office
APPOINTMENT PERCENTAGE (FTE): 50% (20 hours per week- Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-4:30pm)
ANTICIPATED START DATE: July 1, 2021
SALARY: $14.83/ hour
This position requires work of moderate difficulty in providing support assistance to supervisory, professional, and administrative staff in Stout Online/Outreach Services and Registration & Records. This position is responsible for admission and registration for outreach/Stout Online students. Other duties include the acquisition and use of a broad base of computer applications and problem-solving skills and serving as backup to other Stout Online registration positions.
60% Support registration activities within Stout Online and Registration & Records
35% Utilize technology and integrated student database
5% Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience using office software programs- ie. Microsoft Suite-Word, Excel, internet, database, Adobe, scanning software, etc.
- Excellent customer service experience
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Earned Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with PeopleSoft or relational student information system
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Experience in higher education environment or related student services environment
- Demonstrated skills in strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
This position is in the front office of the Registration and Records office and reports to the Assistant Registrar. This position works collaboratively with the Stout Online office and many other offices across campus on a weekly basis.

The normal work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-4:30pm for a total of 20 hours per week.
The minimum starting salary is $14.83 per hour. The hourly rate for this position is based on experience and available budget. A six-month probation is required.
