JOB TITLE: Visit and Office Coordinator (University Services Program Associate)
APPOINTMENT PERCENTAGE (FTE): 100%
ANTICIPATED START DATE: February 1, 2021
SALARY: Commensurate with candidate’s qualifications, experience, and available budget.
This position serves as an administrative assistant to the Director, Associate and Assistant Directors of Admissions. Provides office coordination for the campus visitation program and communication between the Admissions Office, the public and other university offices. Assists with overseeing tour guides and managing office functions.
- High School diploma.
- Working knowledge of desktop hardware and standard business software programs (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel) and the Internet.
- Experience working in an office environment.
- Experience working in a customer service role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team environment and on collaborative efforts.
- Experience using customer relationship management, imaging, or other related software systems.

All students are issued laptops. Faculty use the university’s online course delivery system and must be available for online interactions and/or alternate time frames for teaching. Faculty members teach, advise students, conduct research, assess student learning and engage in service activities.

The normal work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the department.
The minimum starting salary is $15.73 per hour. The hourly rate for this position is negotiable based on experience and available budget. A six-month probation is required.
